Accounts Executive
Role and Responsibilities
- Bookkeeping and related accounting functions
- Maintaining the General Ledger and all relevant Control Accounts
- Monthly data integration to General Ledger and month end process
- Preparation of monthly Management Accounts with supporting schedules
- Preparation of quarterly Accounts for consolidation purposes
- Preparation and finalizing year end accounts together with supporting schedules for audit purposes and thereafter coordinating with auditors regarding issuing of audited accounts
- Handling taxation and filing of tax returns of the company
- Preparation of monthly bank reconciliations
- Supervision / Calculation of import costing and passing necessary entries
- Preparation and checking of Payment Vouchers / Advance Payments
- Periodic Fixed Assets Verification
Qualifications and Educational requirements
- Completed Business Level – Institute of Chartered Accounts of Sri Lanka
- Preferably 02 years’ experience in a similar capacity
- Must be computer literate (MS office, Excel)
- Good communication skills in English, both oral and written
